শেরপুরের নকলায় এনসিপির ১৫ নেতাকর্মীর একযোগে পদত্যাগ, উপজেলা কমিটি প্রত্যাখ্যান।



শেরপুরের নকলা উপজেলায় জাতীয় নাগরিক পার্টি (এনসিপি) গঠিত সদ্যঘোষিত উপজেলা সমন্বয় কমিটিকে প্রত্যাখ্যান করে একযোগে পদত্যাগ করেছেন দলের ১৫ জন নেতাকর্মী। মঙ্গলবার রাতে পাঠানো এক যৌথ বিবৃতিতে তারা লিখিতভাবে পদত্যাগের বিষয়টি জানান।


পদত্যাগকারীদের মধ্যে রয়েছেন ৫ জন যুগ্ম সমন্বয়কারী এবং ১০ জন সদস্য। তাদের অভিযোগ, সদ্যঘোষিত কমিটির প্রধান সমন্বয়কারী হুমায়ুন কবির অযোগ্য, অনাদর্শিক ও সামাজিকভাবে অগ্রহণযোগ্য। এ ছাড়া দলের ত্যাগী নেতাদের যথাযথ মূল্যায়ন না করায় তারা আত্মমর্যাদা রক্ষায় সম্মিলিতভাবে সরে দাঁড়ানোর সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছেন।

পদত্যাগকারী যুগ্ম সমন্বয়কারীরা হলেন- মমিনুল ইসলাম, মনিরুল ইসলাম, সিরাজুল ইসলাম, রাশিদুল জামান ও জসীম উদ্দীন।



সদস্যরা হলেন- দেলোয়ার হোসেন, সোহেল রানা, জাহাঙ্গীর আলম, সোহাগ মোল্লা, আলামিন মিয়া, রতন মিয়া, নাজমুল হাসান, সুমন মিয়া, আরিফ মিয়া ও সাদেকুল ইসলাম।

যুগ্ম আহ্বায়ক সিরাজুল ইসলাম বলেন, ‘নকলার কমিটিতে যাদের নেতৃত্বে রাখা হয়েছে, তারা বিতর্কিত। হুমায়ুন কবিরের বিরুদ্ধে বহু অভিযোগ রয়েছে। আমরা কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটিকে বিষয়টি জানিয়েছি।’


এ বিষয়ে শেরপুর জেলা কমিটির ১ নম্বর সমন্বয়কারী আলমগীর কবির জানান, ‘বিষয়টি ফেসবুকে দেখেছি, বিভাগীয় কমিটিও জানে। জেলা কমিটি আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে আলোচনা করে সিদ্ধান্ত নেবে।’

উল্লেখ্য, গত ১০ আগস্ট কেন্দ্রীয় আহ্বায়ক কমিটির বিজ্ঞপ্তির মাধ্যমে হুমায়ুন কবিরকে প্রধান সমন্বয়কারী করে ৩২ সদস্যের নকলা উপজেলা কমিটি ঘোষণা করা হয়।





15 NCP leaders and activists resign together in Nakla, Sherpur, reject upazila committee.



Fifteen leaders and activists of the party have resigned together in Nakla upazila of Sherpur, rejecting the newly announced upazila coordination committee formed by the Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP). They announced their resignation in a written statement sent on Tuesday night.

Among the resigning members are 5 joint coordinators and 10 members. They allege that the chief coordinator of the newly announced committee, Humayun Kabir, is incompetent, unethical and socially unacceptable. In addition, they have decided to step down collectively to protect their self-respect as the party's departed leaders were not properly evaluated.

The resigning joint coordinators are Mominul Islam, Monirul Islam, Sirajul Islam, Rashidul Zaman and Jasim Uddin.

 The members are Delwar Hossain, Sohel Rana, Jahangir Alam, Sohag Molla, Alamin Mia, Ratan Mia, Nazmul Hasan, Sumon Mia, Arif Mia and Sadequl Islam.

Joint Convener Sirajul Islam said, 'Those who have been placed in the leadership of the Nakla Committee are controversial. There are many complaints against Humayun Kabir. We have informed the central committee about the matter.'

In this regard, Alamgir Kabir, the number 1 coordinator of the Sherpur District Committee, said, 'I saw the matter on Facebook, the divisional committee is also aware. The district committee will formally discuss and decide.'

It is worth noting that on August 10, through a notification of the central convening committee, a 32-member Nakla Upazila Committee was announced with Humayun Kabir as the chief coordinator.
